You can get started with drawing as a hobby with some simple tools like a few pencils and paper. But as you graduate to doing more complicated drawing you might want to stock up on different kinds of drawing instruments and paper too. If you behave like a novice and try and get yourself some of the drawing start up kits you may feel that the hobby is extremely expensive. However, a little bit of caution is required in this case.

It is judicious to restrain yourself in the beginning and try and assess your capabilities before you invest in expensive drawing material that you may never use later. Your capability does not depend on how expensive the pencil is or how specialized the paper you are drawing on is. At the same time as you grow better in your hobby, you may want to indulge in these specialized items to make use of them properly.
